First time watching a movie here and it was great! The tickets were $6.50/ person for the first matinee and we watched Black Panther. The seats were...

Pros:I'm just happy this place exists. Retro theater and a lovely experience overall. Cons:The seats aren't in any useful incline for a better viewing experience. Alos the seats are aligned right in front of EACH OTHER. What this means is you can seat behind a person with average height and see the back of their head the entire feature. Otherwise if they gave free or discounted refills for their typical over priced sodas that would be nice, something different... Think about it. ????????

I really love this historic movie theatre. Built around the discovery of King Tut's tomb, circa 1923,as a silent movie and Vaudeville house, it has an ancient Egyptian motif. Check out the campy box office, and the hand and footprints of recent film favs at the entrance. See movies the way they were made to be seen: in a big, old fashioned movie palace. I'd give it 5 stars, but parking REALLY sucks, tiny side lot, some neighborhood space and meters. In 1923 a red street car use to stop outside, wish it still did!

Everything you want in a quaint neighbourhood single picture theater. Lots of historic Hollywood flair, cozy seats and The Friendliest hosts I've ever encountered at a movie. On top of showing my favorite movies, They have costumed characters for many different events, great for kids and adults alike! -1 for No parking.
