Of course, we spent a lot of time checking out the hand and foot prints outside but we really thought it would be cool to see a movie inside the theater....
What more can be said? The place where Star Wars premiered in 1977; a true legendary fixture in Los Angeles & in the film business, the one & only, world...

This place is okay if you bought a go City card. It's nothing too exciting in comparison to some of the other activities you can do in the area. Although you definitely have to stop here at least once in your lifetime to say you did. It's fun holding up your hand or foot to one of the movie stars. It's amazing how small some of the male actors actually might be by looking at the size with their hands or feet. This place is a stop for a lot of the tour buses, therefore if you're waiting for a half hour then check out the front of the theater as it's free. The cost to get in if you don't have the go City card is not too bad. There are a lot of good stores in this area that sell items for $5 each. So it's a great place to get some souvenirs. There are a lot of cops that Patrol the area so far all I felt safe taking my family there. I've been back many times and we'll still go back in the future to the area. There is a pizza place across the street that's pretty good and I suggest I cannot remember the name of it.read more

This is a very historical theater in good ol' Hollywood. It used to be the Mann Chinese Theater but since then became TCL Chinese Theater. The seats here are very comfortable. The sound is incredible. You really feel like you are part of the action. Food here - considering its history - is not as bad as I expected. Great experience and recommend anyone to visit.read more

A great historical artifact of the televised century, as well as a great entertainment center. The theatre itself is quite stunning both inside and out. The movie we saw was Star Wars the Last Jedi, which was also an awesome experience. I definitely recommend going if you get a chance to go to Hollywood. On your walk there you will see the Hollywood stars walk of Fame, and you will get a sense of the flashing bright lights and spectacular livelyhood.read more
